"Golden Tapper" - Senioren Stepptanz
"Golden Tapper"- Seniors Tapdance at the Alten Markt
With
66 life gets its kicks. The dancers of the seniors-tapdancing-group "Golden
Tapper" could only verify the motto, even though their ages range
from 50 to 76 years. But the ten ladies and the gentleman were very vivid
for sure.
On the stage at the Alten Markt the group rocked the dancefloor under
the conduction of Inge Oscheja. The programme started with a Charlston
and was followed by an Irish Hardshoe piece in the riverdance style. After
a zesty applause the "Tapper" gave an additional and tapdanced
to "Rock around the Clock".
For about three years the enthusiastic tapdancers practice once a week
in the AWO center. They already did plenty of shows this year. "On
stage we really got it going on", one of the dancers, Edith Albrecht,
tells us elated. "Dancing is not only a lot of fun but it also keeps
the mind and body young."
